Corporate & Supplier Partnerships

The Reisman Family Foundation was originally funded entirely through monetary donations.

Over time, the number of individuals and families seeking assistance during serious illness has grown significantly. While direct donations remain essential, they are no longer sufficient on their own to meet the full scope of need.

To responsibly expand our capacity and serve more families, the Foundation has launched an in-kind corporate donation initiative, allowing excess goods to be converted into meaningful program funding through approved channels.

How it works: “We Turn Excess Inventory Into Verified Charitable Impact.”

We accept overstock, returns, shelf-pulls, and closeouts. Donations are distributed directly or responsibly liquidated through approved wholesale channels to fund support for families facing medical hardship.

Process:

  1. Submit a donation inquiry
  2. We review product list + compliance constraints
  3. We coordinate logistics (pickup/shipping terms)
  4. Goods are received and documented
  5. Distribution or approved liquidation
  6. IRS-compliant acknowledgment letter issued

“We do not assign value; we acknowledge goods received.”

We accept: overstock, end-of-life, discontinued, shelf-pulls, returns, closeouts.

Consumer goods, household items, personal care, apparel, small appliances, etc. Click here for full list.

What your donations fund

Direct Financial Support (Anchor Service)

Emergency financial assistance for families facing medical hardship

Serious illness often brings immediate financial strain—lost income, unexpected expenses, and mounting bills. Direct financial support allows families to focus on care and recovery without immediate economic crisis.

Estimated impact:
 • $1,000–$2,500 provides short-term emergency financial relief for a family
 • May be used toward essential living expenses, transportation, or recovery-related needs

Support is provided on a limited, case-by-case basis based on available funding.

Transportation Assistance

Access to medical care when travel becomes a barrier

Estimated impact:
 • $250 helps fund 10–12 round-trip rides to medical appointments
 • Supports patients undergoing frequent or long-term treatment

In-Home Support Services

Practical help during illness and recovery

Estimated impact:
 • $500 supports 15–20 hours of in-home assistance
 • Includes light housekeeping, laundry, and daily household tasks that become difficult during illness

Post-Hospital Companionship

Emotional and practical support after discharge

Estimated impact:
 • $750–$1,000 helps fund post-hospital companionship services
 • Designed to reduce isolation, support recovery, and ease caregiver burden

Hospital Entertainment & Morale Support

Moments of relief during extended hospital stays

Estimated impact:
 • $1,000 helps fund multiple hospital entertainment visits
 • Supports emotional well-being for patients and families during treatment

Impact estimates are illustrative and may vary based on program needs and available resources.

Why Expanded Support Is Needed

Each year, the Foundation receives more requests for assistance than it can fulfill through monetary donations alone.

As healthcare costs rise and families face increasing financial and emotional strain, the gap between need and available funding continues to grow.

Growing Demand (Demand Signal Without Panic)

Requests for transportation, financial assistance, and in-home support continue to increase, particularly among families facing prolonged or chronic illness.

B) Why In-Kind Corporate Donations Matter

Corporate in-kind donations allow the Foundation to responsibly extend its reach by converting excess inventory into direct program funding, without diverting limited cash resources from families already in need.

C) Early Outcomes & Forward Accountability

As this initiative grows, the Foundation is implementing clear tracking and reporting frameworks to ensure transparency, donor confidence, and measurable impact.

Add bullets:

  • Goods reviewed prior to acceptance

  • Approved liquidation channels only

  • Program allocation oversight

  • Donor acknowledgment and reporting

Future Impact Commitment

As corporate partnerships expand, the Foundation intends to publish periodic summaries outlining how in-kind donations have supported program services and families in need.
